An Ode to TAZ
March 2009 - July 2009
He was a tiny lovely ball of snow..
With eyes like cherries, with a sparkling glow.
With little hands so lady like,
And little feet that could never bike
That was our hamster adorable ..
Our li’l Taz, so dear and lovable.
He had such endearing loving ways,
As he wriggled from my arms up to my face...
And when he would escape my sight and hide,
I’d feel so sad but never chide..
Oh how he loved to run and run
Not on his wheel, but under the sun
And how I loved to see him play
And pet him and kiss him everyday.
Our little Hammie adorable..
Our li’l Taz, so warm and lovable.
Into our lives, so quietly he came..
And before we knew it, he was tame.
Little did we know as we called his name,
That he didn’t have long to play his game.
Quietly he went, early morn one day
And I couldn’t but cry as I watched him lay,
A tiny fragile ball of snow,
With eyes that had lost its sparkling glow.
In our garden he lies today,
Our hammie who always made us gay..
Our dove pearl hammie, Taz, so dear..So dear that we feel he's always near.
