Its strange how you stumble on a treasure when you're on a casual stroll looking for nothing in particular.
While waiting for one of my buddies to come online to chat up a bit with, was flipping through You Tube and i stumbled on this lovely soul with a golden voice and a beautiful face.
I was immediately drawn to her candid talking...uninhibited...unadulterated...
She had an innocent charm to her, like that of a baby...and pretty soon i discovered that wasn't all !
She also made as beautiful (as her) songs..and sang in an even more beautiful voice!
Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce KIM DIVINE.
She's a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Massachusetts but doing musicals in San Diego and LA.
Kim also runs a video blog in You Tube and calls her posts 'Bedroom Sessions' where she gives the world a sneak peek into her life, her hobbies, and best of all some real soulful music.
The clipping i've chosen for my blog is from one of her Bedroom Sessions where Kim croons a tugging-at-the-heart number titled ' Without You '.
A soulful song is always born when its words are taken out of life and the song is rendered from the heart. ' Without You' is one such number.
In the clip below, Kim lets us in on the history behind this soulful piece and i must say it doubles the beauty of listening to it!
