gigglyBut then, rarely does something occur in our day-to-day lives that helps dust the cobwebs off some of the best memories of our lifetime, right?
For me, it took a line from the latest Reader's Digest Laugh Lines.
Now, i wasn't a top scorer ever in my school days, but I have always wondered why when the teachers shot surprise questions at the class, i would invariably always be among the ones exempted from having to answer ( along with the intelligentia in the class) !! The misfortunate ones would of course have to do an imposition of sorts or stand in their seats for the rest of the hour.. while lucky ones like myself ( who didn't know the answer, but were thankfully spared) heaved a sigh of relief (under our breaths)..
The recent e-edition of Reader's Digest carried an altered version of the cliched words of wisdom - "When in doubt, ask." This one said :
' When in doubt, look intelligent.'
Suddenly, that explained a lot of things.
